Studio H Design Group, founded by Kelly Hinchman in 2013, is a San Diego-based interior design firm specializing in crafting luxury interiors for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients across the country. The firm’s designs strike a balance between feminine and masculine, refined and irreverent, and glamorous and functional. Studio H’s multidisciplinary team provides a highly collaborative experience, from concept to creation, including architectural planning, custom furniture and millwork design, as well as finishing touches like art curation. This is a full-time on-site role as Interior Designer in San Diego, CA. The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, architecture, construction drawings, interior design, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection. The role requires close collaboration with the client, Senior Interior Designer and the design team to create bespoke and sophisticated interiors that meet the needs and preferences of the clients.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience in residential interior design

Minimum 4 years of experience with AutoCAD drafting

Strong skills in space planning, architecture, and construction drawings

Experience in interior design and FF&E selection

Proficiency in Sketchup, AutoCAD, and other design software and tools

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Creative problem-solving abilities

Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics

Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior design or related field

Professional certifications or memberships in relevant design organizations are a plus
