I needed to add storage to my tiny kitchen and these Magnolia buys came through

I love my tiny kitchen, and I really do mean that. It works perfectly for me right now, and is part of an open plan space, which is ideal for this host who never wants to miss out on any of the socializing while I cook. However, there is one thing I would like to improve on, and that is squeezing in some more wall storage.

The spot I have planned isn’t a vast wall space, so big shelves aren’t an option, I need something chic and compact that I can use like a mini pantry – I want this kitchen storage to look lovely but also work practically. I got quotes for something bespoke and built-in, and what I got back was mostly in the thousands. So I started hunting for some no-demo, more affordable versions that would add some extra storage to my small kitchen.

I found everything I was looking for at unexpectedly afforable prices at Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia.

The brief was solid wood, nothing huge, wall mountable, and space for storage and decor – a single cabinet that didn’t cost over a few hundred dollars. And Magnolia’s site is full of pieces that tick all these boxes, and for surprisingly reasonable prices too.

Right now, there’s a summer sale running on the site, making these quality pieces even more of a bargain, with prices starting from just $95 – a fraction of the price for very similar bespoke designs I was quoted.

And these pieces don’t just work in kitchens. They are an easy, quick, and affordable way to add extra storage to any room, although I do imagine they would be ideal as bathroom storage. There’s plenty more bargains to be had in the Magnolia sale too, no matter what room you are focusing on, there’s up to 60% off across all departments.
